Plant Magic Miami is ready to green up your events, and we we are VERY busy from October to May!
Miami is always HOT! In the summer it is REALLY hot, and humid! Only the toughest of us can handle the heat. The plants love the humidity, but even many of them get tired in the extreme heat, showing signs of stress. Pest pressures build in the summer heat, and we have a new pest of the month with every turn of the calendar. We humans who work outside taking care of our plants don’t love the summer months. Try loading a box truck with heavy plants in 93 degree weather with 95% humidity, and you’ll soon feel an immense appreciation for the person who invented air conditioning!
Our clients don’t host many events in South Florida in the summer months, and after the Miami F1 Grand Prix in May, event season slowly starts up again in October, but really kicks into high gear for Art Basel and Miami Art Week. Summer heat, humidity, and intense UV rays force us to limit the amount of summer work we do as well, but if you need plants for an event in June, July, August, or September event, email us to check availability. We’ll see what we can do!
